{"id":827,"date":"2016-08-19T00:01:34","date_gmt":"2016-08-18T22:01:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ooko.com\/lalaemerald\/?p=827"},"modified":"2017-09-21T18:28:28","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T16:28:28","slug":"monasterio-de-santa-maria-de-sobrado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ooko.com\/lalaemerald\/monasterio-de-santa-maria-de-sobrado\/","title":{"rendered":"Monasterio de Santa Mar\u00eda de Sobrado"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Monasterio de Santa Mar\u00eda de Sobrado<\/h3>\n<p>El Monasterio de Santa Mar\u00eda de Sobrado o tambi\u00e9n conocido como Monasterio de Sobrado dos Monxes tiene sus or\u00edgenes en el siglo X como abad\u00eda familiar perteneciente a la familia del Conde Hermenegildo.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>El comit\u00e9 del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO declar\u00f3, en junio del 2015, Patrimonio de la Humanidad al Monasterio cirterciense de Santa Mar\u00eda de Sobrado\u00a0como edificio singular vinculado directamente al camino de Santiago y las rutas del Norte Peninsular.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FECHAS IMPORTANTES DE LA HISTORIA DEL MONASTERIO:<strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La vida mon\u00e1stica cirterciense empieza el 14 de febrero de 1142, bajo la advocaci\u00f3n de Santa Mar\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li>En 1147 el Papa Eugenio III confirma su fundaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Se une a la Congregaci\u00f3n Reformada del C\u00edster en 1498.<\/li>\n<li>Entre los a\u00f1os 1600 y 1700 hubo grandes reformas en el Monasterio y tambi\u00e9n se ampli\u00f3.<\/li>\n<li>En 1834 por una Real Orden se cerr\u00f3 el Monasterio y como consecuencia trajo consigo el abandono y casi la destrucci\u00f3n de \u00e9l mismo.\u00a0Al a\u00f1o siguiente, la mayor parte de los monasterios de Espa\u00f1a son tambi\u00e9n cerrados, por una orden general y definitiva de desamortizaci\u00f3n. El Monasterio de Santa Mar\u00eda de Sobrado y sus posesiones son vendidos a personas no relacionadas con la instituci\u00f3n religiosa o eclesi\u00e1stica. En esta \u00e9poca se empieza un deterioro progresivo de los edificios que acaban convirti\u00e9ndose en un mont\u00f3n de ruinas y piedras.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0En el a\u00f1o 1954, el cardenal Fernando Quiroga Palacios, arzobispo de Santiago de Compostela, encomend\u00f3 al Monasterio Cisterciense de Viaceli, en Cantabria, la restauraci\u00f3n del Monasterio, y en el mes de julio de 1966 env\u00eda una comunidad de monjes. El 25 de julio de 1966, regres\u00f3 nuevamente la vida mon\u00e1stica en el Monasterio de Santa Mar\u00eda de Sobrado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a
